I'm re-reading this again, and it's really good. I'm only on the fourth chapter, but I find it sweet that Jacques clings to Shea the way he does and still acts like a he man even though he's lost most of his memories.

I love this book. I really feel for both Jacques and Shea. He is so dependent on her really and you know he has to hate that in a way. I mean they are the he-men.

Yeah I think its sweet that even to this day that you see that in the books. You see that he clings to her still. I'd bet it does really bother him I mean he never really lets her go and he has to feel bad, but at the same time he can't help it

That´s true, but he and Shea also slowly overcome the trauma - if not they wouldn´t have get their little Stefan. And the little one will help further because there´s another one they have to look after, not only themselves.

Yeah i just reread this book last week and i just have to say that I think that Jaques and Shea are one of the best couples! I can't believe that they pretty much over came all that trama, and yet are still together! and now have a baby!!!! I think that it is all just so ...... ;D
I just love this book! There is no way that Jaques could have killed Shea!!!!I don't think that jaques could he even fathomdoing such a thing!

I agree as crazy as he was he wanted Shea with him so I doubt he would have killed her

And even if he did ( which i doubt he did), He would feel so much grief that he thought about doing so that he would automatically either ask for forgiviness from Shea or for help from Mikhail. But we obviously know that he wouldn't kill Shea now. Definatly not!!!

No way. And I´m looking forward to see him act as a father ... when the little ones turn toddlers, you know, carpathian toddlers ... I think they doubletime the human ones. Because I´m sure they are capable to activate some power of their own (remember Darius ...)

I think that jaques will probably look like he did in Dark Celebration with the flour all over his face. Only more helpless because its baby powder and a baby crying!!! Poor Jaques!!
