Vicki has some great books. You'll love them especially if you were a nerd, geek, or dork in highschool. Like I was. I post excerpts from her books for ya'll.

Nerd In Shining Armor
For Genevieve Terrence it seemed like a dream come true: a weekend alone on Maui with her sexy boss, Nick Brogan. But little did she know that Nick had dreams of his own -- a nefarious scheme that nearly got her killed on the flight over the Pacific. Lucky for her, brilliant computer programmer Jack Farley was on board and quick-witted enough to crash-land the plane. Now Jack is her sole companion on a remote desert island with nothing but guava trees and sharks for company. Who'd expect the shy genius -- and the least alpha male she knows -- to turn out to be the uninhibited stud of her wildest dreams?
Saving Genevieve's life has made Jack a hero in the eyes of the woman he has secretly lusted after for months. Now they're alone together in a tropical eden where they're free to give in to their every sensual whim. But when some nasty unfinished business puts them at risk again, Gen will learn there's nothing quite as dangerous as a fully aroused ex-nerd who'll move heaven and earth to protect the woman he loves...
The Nerd Who Loved Me
Lainie Terrell is no ordinary single mother. With feathers in all the right places, she's one of the hottest showgirls in Vegas. Aside from a hot-tempered ex-boyfriend on her sequined tail, Lainie's biggest problem is finding a decent babysitter for her son. Lainie's dilemma is solved when she ropes Harry Ambrewster, the casino's shy-but very smart and cute-accountant, into the task.
Inheriting his chemist father's high I.Q. and sexy good looks, Harry has always been intrigued by Lainie. He isn't thrilled at the prospect of babysitting, but he'll do anything to get near the gal who fuels his craziest fantasies. Then Lainie's dangerous ex comes knocking. Their option? Run faster than a pair of net stockings.
In disguise and on the lam, Lainie's masquerading as the perfect wife. Harry's doubling as the he-man protector. But with a set-up this hot, who's fooling who? When the lights go down, and the masks come off, a nerd like Harry could be just the right ignition to set a woman like Lainie on fire....
Nerd Gone Wild
Inheriting a fortune means less to Ally Jarrett than fulfilling her real dream: to take off for the wilds of Alaska and photograph animals. Unfortunately, she's also inherited her grandmother's personal assistant--an overprotective nerd who couldn't survive a snowball fight.
As a PI and bodyguard, Mitchell Caruthers is the perfect man to protect his late employer's granddaughter. However, keeping his geek-masquerade--and the secret behind his real mission--isn't easy when the freeze between Ally and Mitchell begins to melt.
Yet all's not well in this sub-zero paradise. Ally's bad seed uncle is staking a claim on the family inheritance with a dangerous masquerade of his own. With Ally's life in danger, it's time for her right-hand nerd to expose the real man undercover, and prove himself to the vulnerable body he's been hired to guard...
Gone With The Nerd
Movie star Zoe Tarleton has everything but respect. Now she’s determined to get it by snagging the coveted role of a plain-Jane chemist. All she needs is for her decidedly uncool attorney, Flynn Granger, to teach her the Oscar-winning subtleties of being a nerd.
California’s “Bigfoot Country” is the ideal secret hideaway for coaching. That means rehearsing the steamy scenes too. Who’d have guessed that Zoe and Flynn’s performances would be so convincing? Unfortunately something is turning their hot love story into a hair-raising thriller.
The killer bees, the poisoned food, and the toppled tree are no accidents. Someone’s out to get them. Does Flynn have a love-struck woman in his life? Does Zoe have an insanely jealous fan? Or is Bigfoot real--and more resourceful than anyone imagined? It’s just Zoe’s luck. She’s finally found the man of her dreams and the role of a lifetime--and both of them could be her last.
Talk Nerdy To Me
Fashion model Eve Dupree is fed up with being labeled “the pretty one” while her sister’s called a genius. Eve’s got loads of brilliant ideas, not the least of which is the invention she’s building in her garage. But when she turns to the nerd next door to help get it off the ground, she finds herself on dangerous ground.
Charlie Shepherd has discovered that there’s more to Eve than meets the eye. But it’s not just her body he likes—it’s those sexy brains of hers. Romance is a complication he doesn’t need right now. The problem is, she has something he needs and he can’t seem to resist her.
Keeping her creation under wraps is harder than Eve expected—as is denying her attraction to Charlie. But when a saboteur starts sniffing around her project, she questions everyone around her, even her nerd in shining armor. Can opposites attract or will they ignite a fire they can’t control?
Nerds Like It Hot
As the sole witness to a mob-related murder, mousy makeup artist Gillian McCormick needs to disappear if she wants to stay alive. With the help of her octogenarian film star friend Cora Bledsoe, Gillian transforms into a Marilyn Monroe look-alike and books passage on a Nerd cruise headed for Mexico. She also brings along backup; P.I. Lex Manchester and his partner Dante Fiorello, who agree to work undercover as nerds to protect Gillian until the cruise docks.
But once aboard ship, things are far from simple. The cruise is loaded with unusual and suspicious characters, from lusty nerds to cross-dressers, making it nearly impossible to identify a real threat. And when things begin to heat up between Gillian and Lex, will he be able to keep her safe when all he wants to do is keep her for himself?
The new one will be My Nerdy Valentine and it's coming out in January of 2007.

Oh Vicki Lewis Thompson ROCKS!!!! No other author has me literally giggling out loud by the end of the first paragraph, and roaring with laughter by the end of the first page. Heck, I was smiling by the end of the first sentence in "My Nerdy Valentine"
I've read all of her Nerd series. I think my 2 favs are "Nerds Like it Hot" and "My Nerdy Valentine". A friend didn't like Nerds like it hot as much as I did, but I remember one scene literally brought tears to my eyes I was laughing so hard.

Thanks for the recommendation, Corrinewentworth, I'll order them from my library now! I've read her books for Harlequin Mills and Boon here in the U.K, and I love her mixture of humour and sexiness. I, too, was the clsee nerd but I got my own back on the others - I'm dating the man who was voted 'most popular' at school (smug grin!) Strangely enough, I'm the extrovert and he's shy I also like Kelley Armstrong, Jim Butcher, anf Stephanie Bond

I like all of the books, but if I had to pick just two to be my faves then it would be Nerd In Shining Armor and Talk Nerdy To Me.

I read her newest Nerd book a couple of months ago on my kindle since it was only as an ebook. Nerds Are From Mars was really good. I wish she would continue her Nerd series. I also like her werewolf series.
