Okay--JUST checked out Christine's site and read the synopsis. So exciting! I'm so glad it's Nicolas, he really needs some love. While I was reading all of your replies I had about a million questions going through my head, but now I can't seem to remember them, lol. One question that's been bugging me, though...and I'm not sure how to phrase this...is Lara young? Like, she's got longevity like Natalya, but she hasn't been around a long time? That would be interesting, but for some reason it seems like she'd be a bit older.
Re: Nic's temperament: I hate to say it, but he was pretty ruth(e?)less in Dark Secret, and I'd kind of like him to stay within that character just because it'll make the book more complicated. It's always fun when the woman can't stand her man's guts! lol. Anyway it won't be too much of a problem for me because I'm one of the (few) people who really likes Rafael (even though he was a bit mean, he's one of the few Carpathians who put off his LM's conversion to the point that it put himself and everyone else in danger just to keep her happy).
(Of course, I'd be happy with Nic having any kind of temperament, as I am madly in love with him ^_* )

Hey Earth! I missed girl, where have you been all this time? Well anyway, glad to have you back on board. To answer your question about Lara's age, when Natalya and Vikirnoff saw her in that vision in the caves, he said her escape couldn't off happen too long ago, and he guessed she'd currently be anywhere from twenty-five to thirty, thus making her the oldest of Razvan's children we know of so far. As for Nic's temperment, I think he'll be good, without losing what makes him, him. As for being ruthless, I just think that's part of being a Carpathian hunter, because job requires that you have to plus aside your feelings, your doubts, and whatever, and do what needs to be done; you can't let your emotions blind you, because if you do, innoccent people could get hurt because your didn't do your job right. Also, you have to take into fact that in Dark Secret, Nic hadn't found his lifemate yet, so he still didn't have his emotions back. I mean, if you don't have emotions, there is only so much emotional support you can provide. But as we all know, love makes everyone act out character, so I'm thinking calm, practical, Nic will get a big surprise in seeing how much he will want to make his lifemate happy, even if it totally against his better judgement. ;D Should be some show to watch!

Hey, RED! I've been hanging around, reading what everyone has to say and checking CF's site as often as possible to see if there was a synopsis for Dark Curse. As soon as I saw it today, I flew straight over here to tell everyone--but of course, a week late, everyone already saw it, lmao.
And thanks for your input--you made very valid points, and thanks for clearing up the Lara's age thing for me. I'd LOVE to see all the Dragonseekers have a movie night together. I can just see their faces.
Colby is slightly jumpy while watching the movie and is taking advantage of the situation by hiding in Rafael's lap, while Skyler and Natalya are riveted to the screen. Lara and Nicolas are behind the couch, from which strange noises are emanating. Natalya: Okay, that dude going after the woman right there is the wolf-man. Dominic: It's a man in a mask. And...hair. Natalya: Is NOT! Vikirnoff: Gah, don't GET her started again!

;D LOL Movie-night for the Dragonseekers sounds to me like it would be a sweet and funny as the nail-painting party they had in Dark Possession. What can I say, I love casual family get-togethers like that.

Hey do you all think Dimitri will be in Dark Curse? I mean if Skyler's in it, do you think we'll get to see them getting to know each other, or talking telepathically to each other? I mean, if Skyler, along with the other Dragonseekers are going to help Nic and Lara with freeing Tatijana and Branislava, then Dimitri would want to give her aid in any way he can. Plus, Francesca did give him permission to visit Skyler, so she could learn to accept him. So maybe we'll get a small moment or two between them.
Wonder if we'll find out any more information about the suspossedly-dead little sister of the Malinov Brothers, Ivory, or the missing Carpathian rebel, Tiberiu Bercotivitz? I hope we find out more about the plot for Dark Curse soon, because I cannot wait till September.

I've just started reading Dark Possession - it's brilliant!
I was going to leave it until next week, but all this talk about Ivory Malinov and Samantha, (is she in Dark Demon?), got me too excited to wait, so I've left my husband to worry about packing the bags for the hols, (going to Budapest - yes, really!)
I also like Rafael ,as well as Nicolas and Lucian - do you think Ginny and Zacarias might be LM? Only prob is Ginny's youth - look how long it's taken S & D to get together...
I can't remember which thread I read it on, but someone said that Gabrielle and Zacarias would be LM - can't see it myself, but then I couldn't see Greg wih his LM..

Congradulations on going to Budapest, koschei! I hope you and your husband have a wonderful time together. As for who winds-up being Zacarias's lifemate, I'm betting my money on it being Solange, who is a pureblood Jaguar Princess, and is also, Juliette's cousian. She's harden warrior whose dedicated her life to protecting the women of her race from Jaguar males, but underneath that tough exterior, she has a vurneable side, especially dealing with men, so it would be interesting seeing her, learn to love and trust a man like Zac. She, along with her other cousian Jasmine, who is Juliette's younger sister, are currently traveling to the De La Cruz Ranch, were they can receive better protection. I'm thinking that after Dark Curse, CF's going to write Zac's story, thus ending the De La Cruz Saga. To answer your question about Samantha, who's Natalya's mom, she is mentioned in Dark Demon, but she doesn't physically appear. And as for Ivory, I do not believe she was killed by Draven Dubrinsky. I think Draven(maybe with the help of the Dark Mage), imprisoned her somewhere, and she's been trapped there, for centuries, like the Aunts who are currently trapped in the ice cave. Anyone else have any ideas about Dark Curse's plotline?

Wouldn't it be cool if the aunts meet their LMs as well? Mikhail can hardly afford to not hook up two fully grown Carpathian women. But someone like Josef would be all wrong. But maybe CF could do a play on the whole centuries-old Carpathian male meets modern day woman. It would be super funny. Maybe CF will introduce more ancients?

Oh the Aunts most definitly need to get themselves two wonderful Carpathian males as their lifemates, but I don't they'll receive them in Dark Curse, but there might be a hint or two on who they'll be matched with. I think the Aunts will first need to regain their strenght and get to know their relatives before their well enough to get mated to anyone. Also, I think they'll help the Carpathians by supplying some important information on Xavier, Razvan, and what their master plan to destroy all supernatural races, including the Carpathians, really entails. Remember, those two jerks aren't just going after the Carpathians this time, they're attacking the Jaguar, the mages, the physics, and perhaps even the elusive werewolfs; it's gonna be one big battle coming for all them in the future. Also, this is off-topic, but I just gotten my grandmother into reading the Dark Series, lately, and she just finished Dark Fire, and is starting Dark Dream. She told me her favorite couples so far, are Savannah and Gregori, and Julian and Desari. Well anyway, she was shocked to learn that CF has eleven children, and also, has ten sisters and three brothers. She asked me, to asked you all, did CF give birth to all of of her children, or are some them hers from before she got married, and some of them her husband's from a pervious marriage? ;D ;D ;D She told me, if all those children are hers, then really should write romance, lol!

YOu know I'm not sure. I think all of her kids are hers. I know the girls look a lot like her.

I checked on another website, and it confirms that all of CF's eleven children are hers and her husband's by birth. ;D My grandmother was just a little surprised, because most people today, do not have that many children. In her day, yes, but not so many, nowadays.
