ok, finished....
I like her... alot, I think they are perfect together...I lover her stubborness and I love the fact that Ash was put with a human...that was awesome..my only gripe was his story was so short and fast... I mean you get 400 some pages of his past and within like 2 days he is with Tory... it just went so fast and there wasnt enough real build up... I dont know, like there was a part missing or something. --did you feel that way too?

I was so happy that his heroine is a human or was a human. LOL I am glad his mom approves and won't be causing trouble for them. I am also glad she can kick Arties butt if she has too!
I told yall that I felt SK put more thougth and focus into the first half. It just seemed like she wrote the second part really quickly. Don't get me wrong I loved it but it just wasn't as great as the first half.

yeah, not that I didnt love the story and happy for Ash... and I could see where the first half was so detailed and gave info that really gave such an insight to Ashs inner demons... and why... but the love story was missing or lacking in his love story... it was quick and short and was missing what the other stories had ... that being stuck together away from sunlight, that getting to know one another personally... we missed that in this book.
and it was almost to convenient...not that I dont have a problem with it... but in most of SK books they always have that "opposites attract" and between Ash and Tory... they both play guitar, both adrenaline junkie type... not that I minded, just I missed that "opposites" thing... ya know.

I know what you mean. I think she wanted him to have someone that he would not really have any fights with. Not after what he had been through in his past. So the tension just wasn't there that you get when oppossites atract.

yeah....not that his story wasnt good.... it was just well.... its Ash.. and you would think his story would knock us off our feet... kinda like Tabby and Val did for me... and Talon and Sunshine.... but I still liked it though.

I know. After the powerful first half the second half was just not as good.

yeah.... but she certainly left if for the next book to start right from the last paragraph though!!
it will be interesting what happens now with Nick and Artemis....and how she is going to turn Stryker into asomething decent in our eyes that we will enjoy his story. --not that she didnt set up to start to feel for him now with Satara being dead and his son fighting him.... and what between him and Apollymi.... interesting!!

OK I do not want Artemis and Nick to end up together! No way in H###!
I'm not sure she can make me like Stryker! I know if anyone can it will be SK but still she has her work cut out for her.

oh does she ever....even I told my cousin that she is working on Strykers book and she was like are we suppose to like him?...LOL
oh my god, no.... we dont want Nick and Artemis together... but I am so happy for Ash to be away from her.... she deserves to me miserable and alone.

Yes she deserves to be miserable at least for awhile. I know SK will have her story one day. She seems to want us to hate them then like them. Weird.

So I know I am late jumping on the bandwagon here, but I am with both of you when I say "I wanted to kill, maime, beat, chain, and all around flay Artimis"
Any soft feelings I felt when we saw how she was with Katra when she was little are out the door, window, and across the aegean sea...
Death would have been to good for the B**** she needs to be staked next to Prometheus....
All through the horrors of Ash's youth I wanted to weep. I know he's a character in a book, but the thought that anyone had done that too him, and the crap he was put through time and time again.... I too would have probably wanted to kill myself multiple times... I was happy when Apollymi desecrated her sister for tagging Ash with the whole desired thing....
I WANTED her to desrtroy the whole bloody Greek Parthenon...!!

After reading the first half of the book I realized just how truly amazing Acheron was...and it made me mad at all the friggan Dark-Hunters when they whined about him being selfish and unavailable to them at times... Wanted to kill them too.
..oO(I noticed my violent ten dancies levels went off the charts while reading this book...)
**SPOILING** Tory I loved! She was EXACTLY the hero Ash needed, and I am soo very glad for the way things turned out in the end. The piece of mind that is given at the end, where we will never never never have to see him at Artimis's beck & call is the greatest thing... That B***** still needs to die....or be put away in a very dark and dank prison with her @$$hole of a twin... for the remainder of eternity.

As for the "quickness" of the present... yeah that happened a little too quick, but by the end I was to happy to care...
