besides our garden, which is already planted and the work I want to get done in the back yard is what we have planned... and then there will be our playdates on tuesdays again.
but mostly I am looking forward to not having the school schedule and sleeping in for the summer. LOL

Not really. The girls are going to go to girl scout camp one week for a few hours a day. We might go back home for a few days. We have hubby's cousins wedding at the end of July.
E is going to her friends back in Newport News for a week so she can go to VBS again this year at the same church she has always gone to. She is very excited about that. Her friend is going to be coming here for a week sometime this summer too.
We are going to see if we can afford some cheap yard furniture for the backyard. It would be nice to have seats to sit on when we go outside with Buddy. Plus he needs some shade when he goes out in the afternoon.

sounds like a good summer though...
I hope you find some furniture...check out craigslist you never know what you can find on there.
we got lucky and a friend of my SIL was moving and was going to leave there table set so she asked if we could have it since we didnt have any and we got that one.....its black rod iron and really nice. But we need an umbrella for it, the cheap one we got 2 yrs ago got beat up pretty bad so we are looking for another cheap one.

I hope so. I hope nothing happens this summer.
I might do that. We can't afford a lot.
We gave ours to my bff back home. We didn't have a fence and the pitbull lived next door so we didn't think we would be needing one anytime soon.

A very good summer.
We still can't have a pool with the HOA. We might get a small one that you dump out everyday.

oh I never thought of that... well even a small one would be nice just to sit in, the one we have is a blow up pool for the kids and is about 6 ft long and about 18 inches deep.....not bad, the kids can run thru it, sit in it and play --get cooled off on a hot day although Max has been in my aunts pool that she just got --which is 4 ft deep and like half her yard.....and he said we need one like that.... oh boy....LOL

I bet your kids are really going to miss that pool this year...especially if it stays at hot as it has been.... could you get something like a slip n slide... or some kind of water thing for them?
I can not wait for summer to get here.. for school to be out, and I dont have to deal with getting caitlyn in the car for the mornings... she is getting so hard about getting in the car and her car seat....at first I thought it was she wanted out of the old car seat and wanted the smaller booster seat like Max had so I got her one a couple weeks ago...which I had planned on getting her it for Maxs bday anyway so she just got it early by like 2 wks....only now as soon as she realizes we are getting in the car she runs away and when I get her and put her in the car it is a fight to get her in the seat...ugh!! what a pain!!

I know they will. We did go to one of the city parks pools today. It was nice. Zach of course didn't go. Oh well he can stay home all summer. LOL
Aww sorry she is being so hard about getting in the car. I wonder why.

I have no idea what the deal with it is since once I get her belted in she is fine, its just getting her in the car and in the seat....so strange and what a pain.
I cant believe Zach stayed home, why not go to a pool even for a teenager that wouldnt be uncool to do...?? is it??

true....you never know what a 13 yr old boy is thinking....LOL
I hope what ever it is she stops it real soon too, we only have 4 more days of school after today so I only have to deal with it for another half week anyway for now. I know she has become an outdoor girl, hates to be inside but when I am on a time limit it is not good.
