When I was little I suffered from bad cholic... So bad my pediatrician presecribe a liquid opiate for me.... My father used to come home to me squalling - lets just say my mother was young and it showed. He'd take me from my crib and lay me acrossed his chest, rubbing/patting my back, after he'd given me a dose of med. It was the only way I'd sleep. My mother often come out in the morning to my father asleep in the recliner with me sleeping on his chest.

My girls both had colic pretty much all day. They would sleep on my in the recliner at night since hubby had to get up early for work. They slept on him right after he got home from work. Of course around 9 or so they started screaming again and mommy had to hold them most of the night. I thank got everyday they weren't twins. LOL

I know my oldest had colic but it was do to what I ate, I breastfeed. So as soon as I cut out the food that was cousing it he was fine, but I still loved falling a sleep with him on my chest.

I breastfed too but we found out it wasn't what I ate when I stopped breastfeeding my middle child at 6 weeks and she still had it bad.

We have a lot of pictures of our kids. Most of them are digital though. So I need to take a disk somewhere and get them printed.
