Thanks jackie. I forgot Nico was Native American. OOPS! Guess I'll have to find someone else for him. Yes, he is half japanese, half Native American (or Indian, if you prefer that term) which means he would have the most gorgeous black hair imagineable, because japanese men, and native american both have black hair, and Japanese not only have black hair, it is so damned shiny you can lsmost see a reflection in it!

I wonder why no one has thought to make C.F.'s books into movies? A movie about the Dark series and/ or Ghostwalker would be awesome. They would be a lot better than some of the movies they are putting out now, especially all the remakes they are doing from the old movies.

Christine's books would make awesome movies, maybe you can suggest it to Myrrha Silly and see what Christine's daughter thinks. There is enough action that a man would enjoy it and enough romance for a woman. It is kind of like a win-win situation.

That is true and then scriptwriters always want to change things and I don't think that would go over real big with her. Personally, I don't think that they could do justice to her books and what if they really got a crappy actor and actress for the part and it ruined the storyline. I think you are right about that Silly. It is like that saying, "Leave well enough alone", lol.

hehehehe...someone agree with me. LOL *silly dose the happy dance*
I know, the could really kill the book if they had some really bad actors. Pluse I think a few part would be hard to do in a movie.

They usually ruin the book when they turn it into a movie.

I have to agree with you again about that Silly. ;D That is so true Cynthia ~ I wonder how much of the important info they would leave out? Gone With the Wind, I didn't realize that Scarlett had a son by her first hubby until I read the book and all the other info they didn't have in the movie. It would be a shame to butcher Christine's books.

I know. It the same with the Harry Potter books. They cut out so much, it might of been little things, but it the little thing that make the story great. At lest that what I think.

YEs they do cut out alot in the Potter books... As for CF books to movies - I believe she said on the cruise, that the emotional conflict & personalities of her carpathian males can't really be duplicated in movies - you can't see inside there heads, not in the way you can with the books so you miss the conflicts with-in ie.. Gregori has a whole dark section where he mentally rails at himself for "creating the link" with Savannah... mean while Savannah is listening in on his thoughts, and reacting inside her own head.. thats not something I see easily re-created on the screen.
Also as mentioned earlier, screen editors do crop out alot of things....
