I know I forgot so much and the humor and there were parts I just plain forgot. --like Mikhail and Raven went into a cave after she woke up a carpathian....I did not remember that part at all. --and that Mikhail was going to grow old with her---totally forgot that too.

Ok so I finished and while I was reading I took a few notes. So bare with me this might be long....
Did you ever wonder what books were in his library?? I did I think he was a classic type man...I also wondered that if Raven had that much talent when she was a human wouldn't it be kinda more powerful after her turning?? Maybe she could help heal and protect. Oh, and what happened to her being able to sense when she was in the presence of a twisted mind??
Its also driving me crazy, why for some of the men did Christine make them gung ho on the women saying "My own free will" when they entered their houses?? Oh and Gregori still scares me I mean gosh being able to do the things he did in this book!! Like connect with Mikhail and use him to send Raven to sleep!!SCAREY!! Makes you wonder what else he can do...
Also I want to know where the lifemates are that were mentioned in this book. What happened to them?? Oh and Raven and Jacques were said to become close...I wonder if they were able to reconnect...or was that mentioned in a later book and I just miss it or forget it??
Over all I thiink the book is great and very entertaining!! I say its 5 stars!!! LOL

I really liked the book as I read it again, especially when she had sympathy for Andre the vampire even though she knew it was hopeless. I liked how Christine described Raven's feelings at being able to shape-shift and fly.

ok, I am done with the book as well....and I have to say with all that happened in the first book....I forgot so much and I just love the way CF wrote this book. Now the first time around I didnt read this book first but I can see how you learn of the carpathian background and how Mikhail was so attached to Father Hummer. I read Dark Desire first and Jacques couldnt remember much because of the seven yrs of being stuck in the ground.
now I did remember the incident with Raven and Mikhail having to go to ground and Raven having the hard time dealing with that.
I thought the same thing Lily, about the other lifemates --they arent really brought back up yet we meet so many other couples along the way.
Now, I happen to love Gregori-- I dont know what it is about him, but there was a fascination with him for me from the beginning.... so I enjoy every part of a book with him in it....LOL
I think as we reread more books we will see the connection between Jacques and Raven, but you have to remember that Jacques goes thru quite a bit and it takes him a long time to recover.
The "My own free will" issue is that they are not being forced into the liar of the lion persay... LOL,....actually I love that she adds that spark of intrigue into the books--I mean if someone said to you "Do you enter my home of your own free will?" now you would be shocked, scared and of course a little intrigued....I mean why else do we read these books.
yes I agree..... 5 stars!!!!

I personally love that part and wish she would put more parts like that into the books.--I wish that was in more books that we read really.
I now have Dark Curse to read too, since I just got that one-- but I havent had the time to pick up any books to read lately.

I really have to say i didn't get to read Dark Prince until after i read pretty much every other book in the series. It took a year 1/2 to get all 19 books Dark Curse is a great book! I'm pretty sure that no one could be disappointed with that book.
