Hmm my New Year's Eve....I was at work (I did receive a nice bottle of Chanpagne - which was part of New Year's Day Mimosas!) The nifty thing was, since I work in the heart of the City, when ten to midnight came around, I manage (with my manager and two co-workers) to get front row seating at the river for the fireworks... LOL! Watching them so closely I remembered exactly why I loved them as a kid, heck I am pretty sure my eyes were as large as saucers as the bursts exploded, above and beside us...(the court street bridge -which was a hop, skip and jump away) Had been turned into a fireworks fountain...roman candles and fountains going off in tandem with the larger display down at the next bridge... It was indeed fun...and I loved it.
New Year's Day I just kicked back, relaxed and ehjoyed a nifty brunch between me, my sister and her boyfriend.....I forgot how nice it is to just do nothing every now and again...

Things are going OK. Still trying to work out some problems Z is having at school and that is my major stress thing right now. Hunting season is over so I am no longer a hunting widow. Yay!

Yeah I have heard that a lot. Especially when we lived on the Eastern shore and a lot of guys out there hunted.

It really is. It is not cheap if you count the gas to drive almost an hour up the road to where they hunt.
