He is much better looking then the guy that plays him in the teaser. He is too old looking to play a guy that is supposed to look like he is in his thirties. I did like seeing CF's daughter playing Colby though. That was neat. Plus either Paul or the girl was played by a cousin, I think.

I totally agree Cynthia, he was too old looking and he is not that good looking. Now C.F.'s daughter was perfect for Colby. But, he did not compliment her in he looks dept.~they should have had a guy who was younger and better looking.

Very true. I loved the guys that played Dayan and Gregori in the Dark Melody teaser. They were hotties. lol I do picture Gregori a little bit bigger and more rugged looking though but that actor was good looking.

i agree Cynthia, i imagined Gregori to be a little more scarier looking and the guy that played him in the teaser reminded me of someone i knew in high school. I also agree about Raphel. Why to old to play along side CF's daughter. she is so adorable and looked the part of what I thought Colby would look like.

What's this?
Well it's just what I said a revival... Lets revist Dark Prince, and recall our all time favorite segments!! If I have to wait four months for my next Carpathian fix I might as well have some fun on the forehand!
So what was your favorite thing about this book? ;D

I'm not sure what my favorite part was. I just love Mikhail. Raven is the best. I'm sorry I can't pick just one. I do love how Raven talked to Mikhail in the beginning. Well I love his surprise that a human woman could do that. LOL

So what do you think of the new covers on the reissues?

I like it. I didn't like the original. That guy was just not my image of Mikhail.

OMG did you see that HIDEOUS picture on the Spanish version of the book? I thought I would die laughing at it! The cover for the audio book is kind of blah .. but the cover for the Dark Guardian one is pretty sweet. Dark Prince in German isn't much different than the original in the US, I didn't think it was that bad, but I did get a different picture of him in my mind when I read the book. That's typical with the characters though, when you read a description of them and then see a picture of what they are supposed to look like. Look at Dante, from SK, on her site it shows him with super short hair, and in his story he's got raging long locks of ebony hair! So, yeah, most of the time I let my imagination form a picture of the character, and if the picture fits with that then it's good, if not then I ignore the picture.

I try to ignore the picture. Of course most of the ones on SK's site fit the guys. Well their bodies fit the guys. LOL

I try to ignore the pics of the men. About what part of Dark Prince that you were asking about Myrrha, I remember the part where Raven had feel asleep outside and Rand was standing over her when Mikhail showed up and how mad he was. And then in Dark Desire when Rand lured Shea out and when Jacques showed up it like was deja vu. "What are you doing Rand?!" I know that they both didn't say the same thing, but it was close.

In Dark Prince the part that really awed me was when Raven was dying and Mikhail told her that if she dies then he will. When he sliced his chest and gave Raven the choice on whether they both live or die that was a sacrifice on Mikhails part and he finally got it through to her that he did love and want her for all eternity. What part of the book stood out for you Silly?
