I have to say my fav'ts parts are when every Raven gave Mikhail a hard time. The one part that really hit me in the haert today. Was right after Mikhail and Raven come out of the ground and Raven was so out of it. He just let her come back herself rather then doing it himself or letting some eals do it.

It was great when Raven kept reminding him that he wasn't long out of the cave, LOL. I thought that part was touching too Silly, him giving her time and space to get into her right mind. Another part that stands out is when the other Carpathian's show up at Mikhail's with the news about Noel and he has to tell them to guard their thoughts and that she had better control over her abilities than they did.

That was great wasn't it. They were so used to us humans being weaker and not psychic.

I know. I think the biggest shock was that the Prince's lifemate was human.

I know. Though I've got a feeling a few were thinking that maybe Mikhail might of turned, when they found out Raven was human.
oh you know I find it strange re-reading this book, now. I'm finding myself really becareful when I read it, to see if there is anything I missed the first time. Like trying to find thing that just might give us an idea who the big time bad guy is.

I think the reason that they were so shocked by Mikhail giving his protection to Raven is that the men in the past had tried to turn mortal women with disasterous results. I bet that was a blessing to them all when they realized a mortal woman with psychic powers could be turned Carpathian. That is true about not knowing who the bad vamp was, although they sure were looking hard at Rand. Did Rand turn vamp when Shea's mother killed herself or before or after? I have often wondered about that.

I'm think that he turned after Shea's mother killed herself.

It makes me wonder if Rand had anything to do with Noel's death. In setting it up with the fanatics.
