I have to get this book but my car is in the shop again! dang it. I am so tired of everything breaking while hubby is gone! We got it towed and then no one was home so we walk almost all the way home in the friggin heat before we finally reached someone. Of course we were all wearing flipflops too so now our feet are sore. Sucky day!

Update on the van:
Well the first time the mechanic called he said he couldn't find the problem. What! I was so not happy. Plus he said I needed a new window motor, my electronic motor on my drivers side window is broken. He said it was the motor I said it wasn't the motor because dh had just replaced the motor before he left. I told him it was most likely a short, he say no it wasn't a short. After I called off the phone with him I called my uncle, he is a mechanic, and he said tell the guy to check the fuel pump. I called the mechanic back and told him this. Well he called me back a little while ago and guess what? Yes it was the fuel pump, oh and the window motor is not broke. It was a bad connection/short! They just better fix the van right or I want my money back! GRRRRRRR!!!!

It was a bit over a mile not bad if you aren't wearing flipflops and if it wasn't the hottest part of a very hot day!

(((CYN)))) So sorry to hear about the Van, and sorry about everyones tootsies. Flip-flops are great for lounging, just not so great for distances. I've had a couple long walks in flip/flop style shoes, and the blisters were killers.

Thanks Myr!
No they aren't but that is all they would wear this summer! Of course it doesn't help that they need new tennis shoes.

yeah, but dont you hate getting them new tennis shoes for the summer when they are going to need new ones for school...I have to get max a new pair, but I didnt want to for the summer, mainly he has been wearing sandals..but I would rather wait til sept when he will be wearing tennis shoes more and then get him a new pair.

Oh boy! No one better have said you were stupid because of that or I am on my way up!
Yeah the way my kids feet grow it is not smart to get them new tennis shoes in the summer if when they won't fit by school time.
