Hi everyone! Just thought I would jump in here with what I have found so far.
My tween daughter has recently discovered she likes vampire books. Being that they are my favorite, and being a good mom, I decided to see what was out there for her. And me of course.
Vampire Academy: Although this supposed to be a young adult book series I'm not quite ready for her to read this one. However, if you can get past the first chapter it is a very engrossing series. Waiting for the third book to come out.
Morganville Vampire: This is also a young adult book but it is completely unlike any other vampire book I have read. I have enjoyed this series quite a lot. Waiting for the next one to come out. I think there are five or six of them out and I'll be getting the newest one as soon as it hits the shelf.
Lynsay Sands: Argeneau Series: So funny I found myself laughing out loud. Here's an except: "One of the pins on his codpiece has attached itself to the tablecloth. Maybe you could crawl under the table and set him loose," she suggested. When I read this part of the book I honestly couldn't quit laughing.
Kerrelyn Sparks: This is actually a series as well but I can't recall the name of it. How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire: Funny, Funny, Funny. And oh sooo good. Excerpt: She wiggled until her nose and mouth found a pocket of air. After a few deep breaths, she realized her precious pocket of air was the crevice between his legs. Wonderful. She was doing heavy breathing on his crotch. This book is absolutely fantastic.
I spent three or four days doing absolutely nothing but reading. At one point I think I even stayed awake over 24 hours. I just couldn't stop reading!
Hope you like them!

Oh! I forgot to mention. Not only are the men in the Argeneau series incredibly hot vampires, but they can go out in the sun ( a little bit) and they still eat food! Now that's what I call having your cake and eating it too

One author that I LOVE reading was Lara Adrian. I love her vampire books. The only thing I didn't like was they all kind of followed a formula over and over again but at the same time I really didn't mind because they were such good books!

Katie MacAlister is hilarious. Anything by here is great. I was reading Improper English and I laughed so hard my daughter asked if I was ok. I was in tears by the time I finished the scene.
