I wonder is Skyler and Dimitri's story will be in Russia. That would be cool. Or maybe it could be in France, where she lives. What do you guys think?

It would be cool if it was in Russia. I don't know how he would get Skyler to Russia though. She seems like she is going to stay well away from him if she can. At least for awhile.

It may occur that Skyler will be the one to seek out Dimitri. Remember in DC when Skyler felt Dimitri's pain she went into the forest to help him. If Skyler felt that Dimitri were in trouble or hurt she no doubt would go to Russia to find out what is wrong. Skyler would never let him suffer if she knew he was in need and she could help. So perhaps their book will involve her seeking him out, and her volunteerly letting him claim her, because she feels his inner struggle with the demon.

With her history it would have to be a voluntary claiming or she might really lose touch with life.

Nods. I think....That we will all be nicely suprised when it comes to Skyler's Tale... She truly is so much stronger than most people think, and it will be that strength that will help her transend her fears to "save" Dimitri.....

I agree, Dimitri claiming her against her will will really be a bad idea for the type of life Skyler has had. But I also agree with the fact that she is really very strong to still be with us, mentally (here I am speaking "us" like I've met the Carpathians before). I think her seeking him out may be the best way to go...but maybe it's still against her will in some way? Like, he's so close to turning that despite her fears and her not wanting to, she goes to him and makes him claim her in order to save his life.

I agree Skyler is way stronger than most people give her credit. I personally can't wait to see her as a strong, powerful, woman who is ready for a relantionship with Dimitri. Another thing I find great about their relantionship is that Skyler doesn't mind Dimitri touching her. We all know that that is a big issue for Skyler, yet there is a moment in DC where SHE is the one to touch him first! You know that scene where D is jealous of Josef and trying to hold off the demon and Skyler soothes him by placing her palm on his chest. Lord, their book is going to be intense!

REDstar here again, and I have one more question. Won't Dimitri have to stay somewhat near Skyler or they will both suffer? Francesca told Dimitri he couldn't take Skyler yet, but that she would suffer more without him. Perhaps he'll take Francesca on her offer and visit Skyler every now and again. If he starts some type of friendship with her like Byron did with Antonietta, that could really help her to accept him. I know that once she feel comfortable with him they will have much to talk about. Also, am I the only who thinks Gabriel is going to keep calling D werewolf? Hehehe his little pet name for his new son-in-law ;D LOL I wonder will he ever give him some imporant duty like Mikhail did with Gregori, aka play Santa Claus. If Gabriel tries to con Dimitri into anything like that there's gonna be one less Dark Twin.

You're right, he will have to stay near Skyler now, especially that they've made contact with each other. I'd like to get a glimpse or two of them getting to know one-another while Skyler is still young, even if it's in a few other books. Isn't MaryAnn supposed to be helping Skyler with her problem too? Maybe we can see how she's doing in Dark Possession. I love how Gabriel calls him werewolf . A major clashing of the Carpathian Men. I loved the scene with Gabriel and Dimitri, how they kept on coming head-to-head when all of the men are normally so respectful of each other. I can't wait for their book.

;DIt is funny (and scary), how Gabriel and Dimitri get into fights. Who knows one day Skyler and Francesca may just decide to use their powers in the way that Desari did to prevent them from fighting like she did with Julian and Darius. I would pay to see one of the Great Dark Twins and the Powerful Protecter of Wolves taken down by their irrated lifemates! Since Skyler going to be such a powerful Carpathian woman with not only empath and earth-healing powers, but also mage abilities, D better watch his step, ;D!
I know I'm running on and on, but you know when the Dark Twins were having that meeting with Mikhail and Gregori in the Prolouge of Dark Guardian on the fate of their people, and how Julian and Dimitri, who were just small boys at the time, snuck in to spy on them. Isn't funny how those two same boys grew-up into men who both became related to the Daratrazanoff Family! Julian as a brother-in-law and Dimitri as a son-in-law and nephew-in-law. Fate obviously has an extremely funny sense of humor ;D

::)They fight like that because they are way too much alike. Both of them are powerful, deeply protective of they ones they love, and do not want to admit they may be wrong. I bet when they work out their differences they'll be very good friends. mean how could Gabriel not respect someone who had the guts to take on not only him, but also, his equally powerful twin. Their lifemates are going to be sharing this look when they start bonding .

REDstar here again, and I think I may have the answer why Skyler could so easily leave her house without Francesca or Gabriel knowing in DC. You how Razvan is able to mask his presence from the Carpathians due to his mage blood? Well, since Skyler is his daughter perhaps can do that also. Perhaps, with the aid of her mage abilities Skyler masked her presence, without even realizing it. Coupled with the fact the Dark Mage may have had a hand in screening her presence, even ancients like her parents had no idea she was gone.
Also I read on this site, that someone suggested that Skyler's birth mother might have been a wizard. I personally agree with them. I believe Razvan choose the mothers of his children due their unique bloodlines. Since Colby's mother was a decendant of the jaguar race along with being a human pyschic, and Colby did't have the rare blood he was looking for, wouldn't have made since if he found a pyschic woman who was decended from the wizards to his next lover, in the hope that their child would have the blood to prolong his life? Hey, maybe the missing Drangonseeker girl's mother might have been a descendant of the werewovles,or Skyler's mother might have sense Skyler loves wolves so much. Knowning Christine Feehan's imagination, anything can be possible.
