This off topic, but I think it would be cool if Dominic Drangonseeker's lifemate was a pyschic who was also a wizard, or even had some werewolf blood. Christen Feehan needs to give that man a lifemate soon; he needs someone to love him, and give him back his emotions so he can provide love and support for his females relatives who have been abused by Xavier and Razvan. I personally hope all the Carpathian women combine their powers to take them down. It would serve them right if they were defeat by women, since they have made it their lives' work to use and abuse them.

I only remember Dominic in Dark Demons right?? I would definitely think he is going to get a lifemate.... I wonder what time frame we will have to wait for his book.
We have so many great guys in these books that need a lifemate!! And the woman got to do some stuff in this book..I liked how they started to bann together and will love to see how this all comes together.

Yes darklover, Dominic appeared in Dark Demon, and earlier in Dark Symphony. He's Rhiannon's older brother; uncle to Soren, Tatijana, and Branislava; great-uncle to Razvan and Natalya; and great-great-uncle to Colby, Skyler, and the missing Drangonseeker girl. His has deep green eyes due to his Drangonseeker lineage. For centuries he has searched for his missing sister, and now, with the knowledge of her death, he is searching for the rest of his lost family. He doesn't say much, but he definitly sees more than most; I even think he can see the future, because Byron called his Drangonseeker-green eyes, the "eyes of a seer", though I believe, due to his lost of emotions, he can no longer do that. ;D What I think is funny, is that Dominic's lifemate, especially if she is fullblood human, will be several centuries younger than her nephew and nieces, and her great-nephew and great-niece, and she'll problely be the same age or near to Skyler, Colby, and the missing sister. LOL Dominic the loner will be surrounded by powerful women! ;D ;D ;D Just what he needs after centuries of isolation!

Back to Skyler and Dimitri, do you think she'll be full Carpathian when Dimitri claims her, or will he give her the final blood exchange? We know she has already exchanged blood with Gabriel and Francesca and it will only take one more for the conversion. Gabriel wants her to wait till she is older, atleast twenty-one, but Skyler says she's going to get him to complete it as soon as possible. If she does complete the change while she's still a teenager, she'll continue to age to the equvilent of a young adult like Savannah did, and even if it happened now, I know Dimitri would be near to help her deal with the pain that is apart of it, because he would share it with her through their link. I guess it all depends on how old Skyler will be in her book and even that doesn't mean whether she'll be full Carpathian yet.

Hello everyone, it's me REDstar. Sorry, I haven't been here lately, my computer had technical difficulties for a few days so I couldn't log on. By the way, where is everyone been lately? It seems no one has wrote anything in a long time. Well, anyway, what kind of relantionship do you think Skyler and Dimitri will have? With the start Christine Feehan has given them I see their relantionship being very intense, but at the sometime, very warm and nurturing. I can also see it having a some humor in it. ;D From the scene with her parents in DC, Skyler is shown to have a very good sense of humor, and in Dimitri's case, anyone who was best friends with Julian has to have some type of humor, ;D or atleast, very good control to prevent him from slugging him!

Hi Red ^_^ . I've been offline for the past few days too because I've been helping teach the 1st-4th graders Creative Writing at my aun't summer school, so I haven't had a PC. Then when I got home I bought a new one (my old one had onlyl 1GB left on it), and had technical difficulties with it. I just got onto the Net, lol. Anyway, I think Skyler and Dimitri's book is going to be one of those "makes-you-think" books. I honestly think that they're relationship is going to be one of the most difficult ones in the series so far. But I know Dimitri will help Skyler just as she'll help them, and I can't wait to see them open each other up. Humor would be great in that book ^_^ . I kind of got the vibes that these two have such strong and powerful emotions that they'll be inseparable. I know all of the Carpathian couples are like that, but it's kind of hard to explain, lol. Am I making sense?

Don't worry Earth, I know exactly what you mean. All the Carpathian couples have such love and devotion toward each other, but like you, I see Skyler and Dimitri having one of the greatest loves of all. Those scenes between them in DC, just gave me shivers! You could just see the agony and helpness, along with the desire Dimitri felt, along with the fear, sadness, and equal amount of desire Skyler felt. Both have their problems, and I can't wait to see them help each other overcome their doubts. I think the big issue with Skyler is that she's scared of someone having so much power of her, and she acknowledges that Dimitri has tremedous power over her. She just has to heal and gain control of her powers, and realize whatever control Dimitri has on her, she equally has on him, like Savannah did with Gregori. In Dimitri's case he has to overcome his own selfdoubt and anger at his inability to protect from what happen to her, and show Skyler that he would never dominate her life, only share it. They'll both be new to being lifemates, but with trust and understanding, I know they'll have a true partnership.

Where is everybody these days? It seems like no one has logged on in quite awaile. Oh well, back to Dimitri and Skyler, you know that wolf pendant that D gave Skyler? I wonder could it have belonged to his mother, and was a gift from his father to her? It was said in the first of the deleted scenes, that a gem-caller had created it centuries earlier. It might be the equvilent of a Carpathian engagement ring/present. I know in DP, Mikhail gave Raven an antique ruby ring that had been in his family for generations, and Byron created an engagment ring for Antonietta. Since Dimitri has such an affinity for wolves, I wonder could it be a miniture of his family crest? I hope in their story we learn more about that pendant.

I think I'm starting to get desperate about waiting for someone to answer my replies. I know everyone is busy, so it's alright that that you all can't answer my replies, day-by-day, but I can be a bit impatient when I have a thought and there's no one around to share it with. I hope I don't drive everyone crazy on this site with my constant messaging, and if I do I'm very sorry. Oh well, back to Skyler and her Wolfman: how old do you think Skyler will be in their book; will she be full Carpathian or will Dimitri give her the final blood exchange; and what might happen in their story. Any ideas? ;D ;D ;D Oh if anyone wants a laugh I've started describing Dimitri in two words. How does this sound: ICY HOT. If anyone else has some terms to describe him or any of the other guys, post them and tell why you think they describe your particular Dark Man.

Oooh, lovin' the icy hot description! That fits him perfectly. And that really describes his eyes too. I'm actually kind of hoping that Skyler will be somewhat young when they're bonded, out of sheer curiosity to see how everyone--family and other Carpathians included--handle it. Of course, she'll need to be of age, though. But that's what I'd hope...I personally think that she might be older so that she can adjust better. But at the same time, it seems like a very Young Skyler thing to run away at a younger age from her parents just so that she can see Dimitri because she can't bare his sadness. That would definitely make things interestink!
Manolito: SNARLING HOT. Seriously! Bwahahahaha

I figure she'll be anywhere from eighteen to twenty-one; maybe twenty-two or twenty-three. When trying to find answer to the question, I think it will all come down to how much time Skyler, will need for her to become more stable with handling the desires, needs, and responsibilities with becoming a Carpathian lifemate, and how much time Dimitri can control the beast; if he waits to late there would be severe conseques. What I'm glad about their relationship so far, is that Skyler right away could tell that Dimitri isn't evil, just because he's dangerous, and that she not so hestiant about him physically touching her, since we're all aware how big a deal that is with Skyler. Also, from what I can tell Dimitri is the first non-family member that Skyler has a great amount of trust in, because she was allowed him not only to touch her, but she let herself relax enough, to let him in her mind when he was healing her hands. And I like how they're both so protective over each other, it makes me wonder what Skyler would do if someone harmed her Dimitri. ;D And Earth, I laughed my head off at your description for Manolito: SNARLING HOT, it says Mano in so many ways! Here's one for Mikhail: REGALLY HOT. Like it?
