I liked it. I thought it was good but something was missing. I don't know what though. I still liked it a lot. Maybe I wanted to see more of the old Ghostwalkers then we did. Plus I would have liked to have been there for the birth of the baby. Not just know she had gone into labor. LOL

i agree about the baby. and yea, somthing was missing in it. maybe we just got used to reading about them being in isolated areas like the jungle and the norton's house that when it was placed in a city like it was...dunno. but i really loved it. then again i love all her books. as we speak i am pacing back and forth waiting for her other books!! i was thinking if i ever have to go into witness protection program (not that im doing anything that would warrent that) but i would threaten to leave if they did get me manuscripts of her future books. i know that sounds mean and i was half alseep when i was thinking that. but still it would be cool and i would make them give her 7 dollers per manu. to cover the price of what it would be if it was a book.

I loved it too. There was just something. I can't put my finger on it though.

KADAN!!!!! .. omg yes!!! .. The quiet, but probably most mysterious GW there is!! I have loved Kadan from the first book, I am so excited to read his story!
I loved the last book, but I think that each one is better than the previous, so I am thiniking Kadan's will be even better.
I tried to figure out who all we had left, though there could be even more we don't know about, and new names could appear in each book, other than Kadan, I believe there is Ian MacGillicuddy, Tucker Addison, Neil Campbell, Trace Aikens, Martin Howard, and Logan Maxwell. So, after Kadan's book there's at least 6 more!!

I think she has lots of hidden ghostwalkers around out there! I love it that she is finally doing Kadens story though! He is so fascinating!

There are also Jeff, Kyle, Jonas and Sam from the first team. Obviously, there was a little girl names Tansy (duh) but I could have sworn there was also a Pansy. A friend and I were talking and we thought that maybe Patsy (Jesse's sister) was actually Pansy who really was adopted out and so she and J were not full-blood sibs. After his book, it seems like she has hidden talents that even she didn't know about and she certainly had a connection to the unknown GW at the end of Predatory Game!

Just because their names were so similiar (I think) and because it was weird that she could be 'normal' yet destined for a GW. And she had a surprising resistance to the torture other than a heart condition. She didn't tell them what they wanted.

Interesting theory ladies. That would be very neat if it turns out true.

I just finished the book. I'm a die hard Dark Series girl and was reluctant to read any other books that keep her publishers from releasing the next Dark book.
I'm shocked at the similarities between both series. Is GW Whitney in any way involved with DS Raven? And there was also a Houton in this book and Alexandria Houton is from Dark Gold. Is she looking to cross over?
Also, I've read every DS book this is one seemed too predictable because of that. I love her work, but every male is a possessive predatory with un-blinking cat eyes, with a masculine body, kiss, and etc.. Almost every woman is a feminine virgin who can't handle the way her body goes up in flames with they make love.
I like her books but sometimes I skim, because I feel as if I've read the book before.

She says she's not looking to cross over the series so I don't think so. And yeah with the exception of Juliet, Skyler and Tony it looks like all her females are virgins. Except in the Drake sister series those aren't....

I really liked this book! I didn't think that kaden would have someone so soon though. It will be interesting to see tuckers' other half.
