Me too Cyn! LOL Once you've discovered something new, your brain starts coming up with all these possiblities, and you have to wait a year to find out if they are true. LOL It can drive a girl crazy! LOL
What do you think about my last post about Razvan being able to help Lara now that he's a full Carpathian male, and thus, the microbes are going to hide from him?

Well, self cannot hide from self. Xavier has been testing those microbes on his offspring and Rhiannon for centuries, and especially on Razvan. I think even though he's a male Carpathian, he'll definately be able to find the microbes. I think the only reason Natalya can't, is because she was the only one who escaped Xavier's grasp because her brother protected her from it.

You make a good point irenesharda. I wonder can Skyler detect the microbes? Maybe her empathic powers could even make her detect them better than Lara can.

The only problem with that, is that Skyler still doesn't have the experience or fortitude needed as a mage to help, but she might in the future.

Skyler has a long way to go before she can take the journey to childhood that Lara had to go through to get to the microbe. No way is she ready to remember the bad stuff that happened to her. She just isnt' strong enough.
I think Razvan might be able to find the microbe. Like Irene said he probably has it in everywhere so the microbe might not think he is a threat.

I think your right Cyn. For Skyler to destroy the microbe, she'd have to not only face the trauma that Xavier put her through, but also all the abuse that Thompson and his friends gave her, and right now she's still too fragil to deal with that. It was good to see that she looks like she's gaining more strength and confidence, atleast with her powers. Still wonder if her and Dimitri are commuicating/seeing each other, or is he keeping his distance for now?
I'd like to see Razvan help destroy the microbe, and I hope they recuse him soon, and find his lifemate too. He can't survive all he's gone through, and just turn vampire in the end. Xavier would have a field day.

I am leaning towards telepathic communication. I wouldn't even dismiss the possibility that he visits her in his wolf form.
Razvan survived this long I think he can make it longer. Especially if there is a lifemate out there for him.

Visiting her in his wolf form...you know I never thought about that Cyn. He may do that, cause she'd feel more comfortable talking to him that way, for now.
And I agree Razvan will not turn, no matter how high the odds are against him. Neither will Dominic, even though he's now got Destiny's tainted blood in his veins. I'm wondering if his book may be after Dark Slayer, which I think will be Zacarias and Solange's book. I remember Dominic saying, that he thought he could lasted out are year or so.

I think she would too.
Dominic can not turn. She will not do that to us. We all want to see him happy and loved.

I loved this book, the only down side to it was getting answers, but then more questions.
I also loved the lullaby and the rituals for healing earth. Oh and the warriors counsil that was great. I laughed a lot in this book. I found it funny too that when Nicolas put the claim on Lara neither one of them knew each others names.
Gregori had me a little mad there for a second with his jumping to conclusions about Lara's intentions. But, in his own way I guess he did make up for it.
I also agree that Dimitri should be the one to go to the Lycans .
I was so excited about this book and I read it sooo fast now I'm like hurry up next year!! LOL
I'm new by the way. It is very nice to have a place where I can talk to people with the same love as I.

It was hilarious when Nic was asked her name and he didn't know.
Welcome Lily! Take a seat and stay awhile.
I expected Gregori to question her sooner or later. He is a very suspicious man. I guess since he is the Prince's personal protector he has to be.
I loved that we got to see more of the inner workings of the Carpathian people as a whole too Lily. It was great to see the blood ritual in the council cave.

;D ;D ;D LOL To be fair, Nicolas really didn't have time to ask her name when he was claiming her. LOL He was bleeding from a wound from Lara's knife, and he was giving her the chance to kill him. LOL When doing all that, names sorta take a backseat, for awhile. LOL Besides she didn't ask his name till later either! When their children hear that story, their faces are gonna look like this: !!!!!!!!! And Gregori's reasons for being suspisous(spell?), are well-founded. He is bodyguard and second-incommand to the Prince, and with all the enemies Mikhail and the Carpathian people now have, he has to be on guard at all times and alert to any sign of trouble or treachary. LOL Besides it's who he is; I mean he very name actually means 'watchful, vigilant'. ;D Obvisiously, his parents knew exactly how he be as an adult, when they gave him that name as a baby! And I love the rituals and customs of the Carpathian People. Like the language, it gaves them so much reality and personality. I wonder do they have any special holidays or festaviels that are uniquely their own?

I also liked to see the inner workings of the Carpathians and am just surprised we didn't see any of that other. A good time to have a warriors council would have probably have been just after dark demon, but hey, whatever.lol
I had an idea many months ago that has become the beginnings of a fanfiction series i'm writing, but I wanted to just put it out there. Everyone knows that the best way to make the Carpathians suffer is through their women and children. Now what if Xavier and his collection of vampires and such were able to capture the lifemates of the warriors and they could somehow prevent all kind of communication between the two. How would the men be able to pull it together in order to rescue their mates, or would the women have to free themselves as the men are falling apart? This was sparked by the "fighting women" discussion in the book.
