From CF's website: In a series that “keeps you rockin’ from the get go,” #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan goes beyond the boundaries of paranormal romance as two lovers take to the streets to play the most dangerous game of all. For Mack McKinley and his team of GhostWalker killing machines, urban warfare is an art. But despite a hard-won knowledge of the San Francisco streets, Mack knows from experience that too many things can still go wrong. Danger was just another part of the game—and now he’s come face-to-face with a woman who can play just as tough. She’s Jaimie, a woman with a sapphire stare so potent it can destroy a man. Years ago she and Mack had a history—volatile, erotic, and electric. Then she vanished. Now she’s walked back into Mack’s life, as a spy with more secrets than are good for her. Against all odds, she’s hooking up with Mack one more time to take on an enemy that could destroy them both, or bring them back together in one hot, no-holds-barred adrenaline rush. Release date is Dec 29/ 09

Oh yes ... there will be some answers. And probably a lot of more questions. And don´t forget that the urban fight theme obviously is still loyal to Whitney - just think of Brian; they probably don´t believe the breeding program and the other rumors and will have a big weak-up! And to discover that some of the government put them on the to-be-hunted list, sending them to suicide missions. I think one main point will be that they´ll discover they were betrayed all the way long ... and maybe Jaimie´s the one showing it to them. And I´m quite sure they´ll run in some of the teams we know. we´ll be a nice scene ...

You know, I was just thinking Jaimie might be the Ivy Mari told about in Deadly Game. Sure, Whitney told the others she was executed but that´s probably just another of his tricks. And it could explain how she met Mack, disappeared and now returns as a spy. She probably met him on one of her missions, then disappeared because Whitney put her in the breeding program and now is used for special missions probably, kept apart from the other girls ... maybe running her own mission.
One can always guess!

I really hope we´re learn more about the government people chasing the ghostwalkers ... and about the girls that escaped. You know, I was just thinking, Mari´s sisters will have to find their way on the street, having no place to hide unless they decide to follow Mari. Maybe they run into the Urban Fighting Team. And Kane should have his place also, because after having helped Rose escape, he can´t really go back anymore.

The first chapter is up on Christine's site And there is a lot of discussion on her board about whether or not Jaimie has had a baby. Im not sure what to think yet. Any ideas?

I must say, I really think she got that child and left and went into hiding. And that´s what will bring Mack to the point to see what Whitney is, when they will start hunting his child. `Cause, think of Brian, his team-member - he didn´t believe Saber when she told of the Birth program and Kane is also part of the team, Rose´s mated birth program partner. So I think the whole setting might be settled before the events of Deadly Game and Predatory Game (which are almost the same timeline for me, just some months apart). I really think the guys of the street fight team are first loyal to Whitney and we´ll need to learn to see him for what he is ...
