I think Jaimie has a baby or is pregnant, or she was pregnant and lost the baby, one way or the other. Remember her holding her stomach and saying she needs respectability and good reputation for her new business? And the panic and terror when recognizing Mack? that would explain why she just disappeared. She knew Mack wasn´t ready to stand up for her (I´m quite angry with him right know, tell you later) and she probably found out anyway what Whitney´s plans are, his aim to get superbabies and see what reactions he gets out of the parents. And if the fathers are the good soldiers following their orders when their order is to get rid of the uncooperative mother? And if the mother is as ready to get rid of the father to protect the child? Because I think there´ll come a similar order - if Jaimie just disappeared then she´s a deserter, which means the good Sergeant Major commanding Macks team may very well give an arrestation or liquidation order for her. Whitney for sure will like to see what the men will do, if they´re ready to only follow their order without thinking even in that case ...

You know, I think Jaimie is very aware on some level of Whitney´s aim and that she´ll probably have to fight Mack for her freedom and safety. At least the way he behaved until yet she has no reason but to believe anything else, explaining her terror. Mack has to learn and to prove that there´s more than adrenalin and following orders without thinking them through, where to put the priorities - for the one giving the order or for his team and family? He´s on the way to learn it, He said himself he only knew what precious he had when it was gone. Hell, why do people alway take those things for granted?! Well, he´s on his way to learn it ... but I´m still angry at him. She had to wait and weep for him? MEN! (I´m going to kick some ass today just for the sake of it ...)

And then, when they´re going to meet the other GhostWAlkers ... when they learn they´re being set up ... think of the fact that they realize the big mistake of them being send in the wrong warehouse? No way that´s a mistake. And this new guy their commander insisted on? Whitney will have his reasons for it. Maybe they´ll start to doubt but think of Brian who didn´t want to see Whitney for what he is. He knows Whitney is alive, Kane knows it, so Mack probably also - they don´t want to see Whitney for what he is yet; and when they meet the other teams they´ll probably be considered as Whitney´s little lapdogs first. There will be a lot of fighting before they face the fact of having been fooled I think, because that makes crumble down or they believed in until now ...

Ooo, I think some of my comments only make sense if you have already read the first chapter. I´m going to post it in a new thread, okay?

Our guessing of babies is not that far. Look what Christine meant:
Will give a bit of a hint, where in the world did the idea of babies come from in Street Game. rofl you all have more imagination than I do!
