Isn´t that really a good one! I absolutely love Razvan ... he´s so DARK! And they are going to challenge everyone, yes ...
This time, I think, Ivory will be first the one saying "I lead, you follow and just shut up! Clear?!"

`Cause you know I guess she´s just the woman thinking by now: "My, if I have to been stuck with you, at least I´m going to be the one wearing the trousers. And don´t forget I´m the one here with the hunting and living experience ..." ;-)

;D A woman after your own heart, huh delphine? LOL But seriously this looks like it's gonna be one wild ride, cause it looks like Ivory has her own inner darkness to deal with, which Razvan will have to help overcome, just like she'll have to help him deal with his issues. LOL And yes Razvan is something; HOT with a capital H. The guy they chose to play him, really captured Razvan's dark, tortured soul, along with his vulnerablity and extreme sexiness.

Hmmm ... like him, don´t you?
And yes, I think Ivory has her own darkness to fight with, not only because of her past but also being a Malinov. Remember their family curse - and why shouldn´t that work on the women also? Just think of Noelle, who was really close to become a vampiress, I think.

I don't know if Carpathian women can become vampires, but Noelle certainly showed that they can become consumed by their anger and jealously, and that can lead to insanity and evil. I think with Ivory it's gonna be a fight against her need for vengence. In alot of stories we have characters who have had bad things happen to them and those they love, and they get so consumed on evening the score, that it becomes a quest for vengence, and through that need they become consumed by their own darkness. I think Ivory will have to learn to let go of her anger at the past and forgive, and thus not destroy her chance at happiness with Razvan.
LOL And yes delphine, I do like Razvan, but something tells me if I was caught drooling over him, Ivory would kick my butt from here to the Underworld, for making eyes at her man. ;D LOL Ivory doesn't strike me as the kind of girl who would tolerant that! LOL

;D Yes, it probably isn´t wise to make eyes at Ivory´s man ...
But I really think the women have their own darkness. Just remember Natalya´s reaction to Slavica touching Vik in the inn (okay it was before the ritual words, but nevertheless ... ). Just to consider the fact, to be a good fighter you need darkness in you. And the Vamps and Xavier don´t really bother with the women fighting so that would be a huge advantage.

I imagine with the arrival of Ivory the question whether it would be prudent to have the low population of the 35 Carpathian women fighting, will be opened up for disscussion once again; in the end, Mikhail will make a descision that is right for everyone, even if it's not what everyone wants, but that's what has to be done for the greater good. And I agree delphine, the women have their own darkness, and I personally think Ivory, may be the darkest heroine we've read about yet.
I wonder how Ivory will take the news that not only does her lifemate have three daughters, he also at onetime had a wife, Lara's mother Shauna? Miss Ivory is gonna have a hard time dealing with that I think, and no doubt may feel jealous and insecure concerning her and Razvan's bond.

Red, I was also thinking about Shauna. `Cause like Razvan said in the message in the Cave, Shauna may not have been his lifemate but the mage in him loved her deeply; in contradiction to the other women he impregnated. I think, that´s going to make it hard on Ivory ...

Yeah, it would be hard finding out your one-and-only loved someone before you. But I know Razvan will make sure the Ivory knows she's is and ALWAYS has been the right woman for him. Yes, he did love Shauna, but in the end any other woman, cannot compete with his feelings for Ivory. ;D I think it will be funny when Ivory learns her lifemate has three grown daughters, thus making her an instant stepmom. LOL I imagine the Dark Slayer's face will look something like this !!!!! LOL ;D ;D ;D

Maybe Dayan and Ivory will become friends because he was in the same situtation..... I have to mention though, that I did not like the trailer this time around. Anyone else feel the same?

Dayan? I´m sorry, heather, I don´t see the connection to Ivory there ...

I think she means that they'd get along, cause like Ivory, Dayan's lifemate Corinne, was married before she met him. I'm sorry you didn't like the trailer heather; I thought it was really good, but to each his own.

I didn´t think of that, red, thanks.
I actually loved the trailer, it gives an impression of the book without giving anything away ... making you bite your nails! That´s purpose ...

I agree, delphine, it was just the right mix of hint and suspense. I also loved the actors they chose to play Razvan and Ivory. They looked very much how I envision them in my mind.
