ok, so maternity clothes are sooooo expensive and you can only wear them for a short time and then you are done with them...
so my mom had gone shopping about a week and half ago and I had mentioned I was looking for maternity shorts for the summer since I cant find my tote of maternity clothes to make cut offs of the old maternity pants I had.
well she said the ones she looked at werent that nice and they were on sale for 20.00 so she didnt get them --but she went to Aeropostale which is like one of my favorite stores and she went to the clearance rack and found me 3 shirts that were size XL for $4.00 each.
and then she got me another tank top at Addidas that is size Large and is so cute and is size Large.....for 7.00 on clearance.
and I went to a resale shop and got a pair of Liz Lange maternity shorts for 2.20, and a pair of maternity jeans that I cut down to cut offs and I paid 3. 80 for those....
its amazing the deals out there when you go looking!!

LOL I need to start looking for clearance clothes to get for the kids for school. I already picked up 2 pair of jeans for E for $4's. Lots of places are putting their short sleeve shirts on clearence or sale real cheap. My kids only wear short sleeve so that will work out well.

ok, that makes more sense since it is just like 6 wks then until they start school.... but even as a parent I dont want to think about the return of school just yet....our vacation just started it seems and I am not ready to think about school, school activities and all the holidays that come after school starts.
my mom gave me a t-back tank, purple white and silver that she got me from Kohls on clearance for 4.00.....it is so cute and its a size Large and fits me great -- so I have another shirt for summer....cool!

I am still not ready to think about school. I might get them some backpacks though since the good ones go quickly.

I think if I saw the back to school stuff in the stores right now that would make me depressed.
you know, Max's backpack stayed in perfect condition until the last week of school... it got ripped the last week, unbelievable....LOL

I plan to get him a new one anyway... the one he had was a spiderman which was his favorite at the time but I know he would want a new one for a new school year which is fine....but to make it all year long and then rip the last week is unbelievable.
the one he had in kindergarten ripped way before the last week.... but we made it last until the last week of school.....funny how they only have a short shelf life ....but then they get alot of abuse from the kids. LOL
I already have the school list for his second grade school supplies....but the supplies arent out yet and I need to start setting aside money for those things when they do.

I have no list for supplies. It is a lot harder to get supplies for my kids now that they are all in middle and high school. They won't even get lists until the first day of school because each teacher will have their own list. We can get paper, pencils, notebooks, backpacks and stuff like that ahead of time though.

I guess thats true, middle school and high school has a different set of supplies they are going to need and then just get the basics.
we are going to go to the mall on thursday... at least the was the plans made today so we will go out looking for bargains for school clothes for max.
