I want to know! Is there not one man who thinks of actually allowing a women not to marry him? It is so freaking irrittating to read that, though I love cfs work. no doubt. please all those with husbands tell me you did not marry arrogant " I know whats best" men? Giovanni is one of the most irritating of them all! >:(I admit though I always fall for those type since my dad was just like them.

LOL... My ex-husband wasn't so much macho as nurotic. He didn't control my life (which i think pissed him off) - he just tookhold of the pursestrings and drove me nuts.
Sometimes mr wonderful is really mr notso-wonderful.

LOL, men can be such babies at times. My hubby when he gets upset gets this mean look on his face and puts his hand to his forehead, what in the h*** does that mean? I've asked him and he shakes his head and looks at me like I should be able to read his mind. He thinks the silent treatment really causes me worry, he doesn't understand when he does that I get my quality reading time in then, LOL. ;D

oh I dunno, he is sort of macho and all but Giovanni has a tender side, I'm not quite done with the book but it seems each time you see him with Nicoletta he becomes more and more human, and more caring. It's plain that he loves her and doesn't want her to come to harm, he's worried that something will happen to her, or that the "curse" will claim his wife, and he does not want to lose his wife now that he has finally found her, and married her. In a way he feels like he might have actually endangered her, but he couldn't help himself. I rather like Don Scarletti, he is quite romantic, once you get to know him.

My husband is really a great guy and he doesn't think that his way is the right way (although, I bet it is a different story when he is around his buddies, lol). Every once in a while he has to beat his chest and get it out of his system. But, I am some what like that too probably (no, it would hurt to much to beat on my chest, lol). I like the men in Christine's books, but only for the fantasy of it. I like that he-man attitude and when they get lost in their mates that is really cool. LOL! I am rambling again.
