If anyone on board loves fanfiction, especially Dark Series fanfiction, I recommend visiting www.fanfiction.net, and reading some of the Christine Feehan stories located in the Book catogory. ;D There are some especially good Skyler and Dimitri fanfics, including a brand-new one titled "Dark Hope", which is in the mature section. ;D If any of you are interested you should check it out, or any of the other great reads.

;D I agree with you darkmaid, it is a very beutiful story and I too, hope with all my heart that the author finishes it. I especially like how closely she captured Dimitri and Skyler's personalities. All their actions played out very much like how I beleve Christine Feehan would have written them. LOL I really like how she captured D's very formal speaking, because I noticed that in Dark Celebration he had a very proprer way of speaking. Hehehe And of course you've got to love the kiss!!!! ;D ;D ;D Now if only CF would write them such a scene...

;D Great second chapter, and their personalities were right on character! Though it does make me wish for their book now, or atleast, when hear some more info on how they are doing. Oh well, maybe we'll learn something in Dark Curse.

I think that Skyler will go to Russia to find Dimitri

Good guess darkmaid, but I think the author will wait a few chapters for that to occur, because like Skyler said she has to face her past before she can begin her new life with Dimitri. However, they will no doubt continue to talk to each other telepathically, so we will be witness to seeing their bond grow even stronger through that. I hope we will get to see glimpses of Dimitri's wolf preserve/foundation in Russia, and how the people around him react from him going to a man with no emotions, to one who has them. That's one thing I'm very curious about, since everyone around him will no doubt see the change, and no doubt, question what brought it on. It would be the same for the people who know Skyler, but have no idea about the Carpathian World.

:)I did, and it's great, but I do think "Dark Hope", got the characterization a little bit more, but that's only my opinion. Oh yeah, somebody on another board, said that Skyler could only feel D's pain because of the blood bond, but that is slightly wrong. I checked back in previous books, and Shea and Raven felt their lifemate's pain long before they ever took any of their blood. It seems to me as long as the pain is great enough, the other lifemate will share the suffering, because they are two halves of one soul and heart, and also, you have to take into account Skyler is a powerful empath, who no doubt would connect with her destined soulmate's pain.
Hey darkmaid? Do you know how old D is? We know he was a childhood friend of Julian, and the older of the two, so I'm thinking he's about 800+years. What about you?

;D I wonder do Carpathians celebrate birthdays, because you would need a really big cake to place 900+ candles on! Maybe they just would celebrate by century, like they wait one hundred years and then consider that their birthdays.
I was discussing the Dimitri/Skyler situation with a friend of mine, and they said they think D should just go to the ground for fifty years or so, and sleep, till Skyler's more stable, but I can't that would be best. For one, as we learned in DC, Dimitri is the only vampire hunter in his area, which is why he's been doing the work of two or more hunters. If he went to the ground for a long period of time, the undead would run amuck in Russia, thus creating some real problems; he also has his wolf foundation he has to run. And considering how strong him and Skyler's bond is right now, I don't know if either of them could handle not atleast, touching each others' minds. I mean they have been in contact since Skyler was a child, and Dimitri would need some sort of contact with her, so has the will to hold on, until she can become his lifemate. Plus, I don't think CF would wait fifty or more years to tell their story. I'd say that after Dark Curse and whatever book follows it, we will see Dimitri and Skyler's story.
