Hey girls! Since we have some women on the boards that are married to, dating, or just particularly like a man in the military (Cyn, Drea, me and V). This is a thread for us to discuss our men. Have fun! LOL!

LOL You know you can still post on here!
Military life can be a pain! It can also be a great thing. Hubby has learned a lot in the Navy and it should help him get a good job! Homecomings are a great experience to have. Hate the separations but the moment they come home! There is nothing like it! It is so exciting. Your adrenalin is just pumping! That first touch, kiss is like your first one all over again! Truly wonderful.

This post is a response to Darklover and Corri's discussion from another thread. Since is is military, kind of related I put my answer here.
See that is what hubby doesn't get! He is so busy that he can't find time to write a lot. OK no problem but when he does email I want a nice long good email. One that says how much he misses me and loves me. I send him long emails and tell him all about our day and how much we miss him and love him. I have kind of stopped doing that lately because I just don't feel like he cares. He doesn't answer the email or answer any questions I ask or anything. I don't want to make him look bad I know he is tired, he is working 10 hour days and standing 2 five hour watches a day! So he barely gets any sleep. He just have to understand that I think about him a lot no matter how busy I get. I am thinking man I wish he was here to see the kids to this or that or to help me with this or that. One of the things that has me upset right now is he hasn't even asked how my foot is doing. I told him about it and about the dr. visit but he hasn't said anything back! Not since the day I hurt it.

aww so sorry cyn to hear that... that really blows....I know what you mean, men can be so well men sometimes!!! ya know... that whole --see only what is in front of them type and forget what is happening around them......hopefully he will get the hint from your short emails as well then.

Who knows. I think he got more mad from the one that I sent telling him I wanted more substantial emails. I know he is doing an important job but he doesn't do any better when he is in port!

I tried that too! I have only sent him one thing in the last day or so and that was just a scanned picture of E's soccer photo! No words or anything just the picture.
